A licence to use Copy Shelter Pro. Free stays free and does not expire. A Pro licence covers this major version on the Macs you own.
Nothing is deleted. Backups you already have stay where they are, your newest backup still restores, and old versions are never removed because you stopped paying. Browsing older versions goes back to being a Pro feature, and unlocks again for anybody the moment the newest backup cannot deliver. That is the whole of it.
Write to support@copyshelter.com within 30 days and we will refund you, no explanation needed. Purchases made on the Mac App Store are refunded by Apple.
Copy Shelter is built to be careful with your data and is tested that way. We cannot promise that no software ever fails, and no backup tool honestly can, which is exactly why the app encourages more than one copy and lets you verify what it holds.
The repository format is documented and readable by a tool that needs nothing but the backup itself. If this company stops existing, your backups still open.
We cannot recover your recovery key. It is generated on your Mac and never sent to us. If it is lost, the backup cannot be opened by anybody, including us.
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us. Keep more than one copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. That is true of every backup tool, ours included.
